Our Awana Clubs typically meet on Wednesday evenings, September – May from 6:15 – 8:00 p.m. However, for at least the months of September and October, we will be meeting virtually. Parents will help their children pass weekly Awana sections with help from our Awana leaders and online resources.
The name Awana is an acrostic which stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" and is taken from II Timothy 2:15. Awana provides a special place for your children to make new friends, play exciting games, compete in rewarding and challenging contests, receive awards as reinforcements for their good performance, and have opportunities to learn and memorize God's Word, the Bible.
First Baptist Church of Arnold's Awana Clubs is for children 2 1/2 years old (born before 02/01/2018) through 5th Grade. The goal of Awana Clubs is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
Puggles is for 2 and 3 year olds born before 02/01/18, Cubbies is for preschoolers born before 08/01/17, Sparks is for K-2 graders, and T&T is for 3-5 graders.
